How Mileage Affects Your Delivery Price

All RS Express Delivery prices are starting prices. The final cost of your delivery may increase based on the total distance between the pickup location and the delivery destination.

The greater the delivery distance, the higher the delivery charge.

Our starting prices include delivery within the standard local service area. For longer deliveries, an additional mileage charge may be added to cover the extra distance, travel time, fuel, and transportation costs.

Example

  • Standard Same-Day Delivery starting price: $25

  • Included delivery distance: Up to 5 miles

  • Additional mileage rate: $1.50 per mile

  • Total delivery distance: 10 miles

  • Additional distance: 5 miles

  • Additional mileage charge: $7.50

  • Estimated total delivery price: $32.50

Mileage is calculated using the distance from the pickup location to the delivery destination.

The final delivery price may also be affected by:
